These Website Terms of Use explain how this website should be used, what information it provides, and the limits of the information available here.
The SENTIS website is intended to help visitors learn about the practice, the therapeutic approach, practical arrangements, and how to make contact. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical advice, psychiatric care, legal advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.
Please note: SENTIS is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself safe, or believe someone else is at immediate risk, please call 999 or 112, attend your nearest Emergency Department, contact your GP, or contact another appropriate crisis support service.
1. Who we are
This website is owned and operated by SENTIS / Psih. Claudiu Negosanu.
SENTIS is a psychotherapy practice based at 16 Lower George’s Street, Wexford, Co. Wexford, Eircode: Y35 KT73.
You can contact SENTIS by email at contact@sentis.ie or by telephone on 089 4555468.
2. What this website is for
This website provides general information about SENTIS, psychotherapy services, therapeutic approach, practical arrangements, contact details, and related mental health topics.
The information on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It should not be understood as personal therapeutic advice, medical advice, psychiatric advice, legal advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support.
In simple terms: the website can help you understand the service and decide whether you would like to make contact. It cannot replace an individual consultation with an appropriately qualified professional.
3. Adult-only service
SENTIS provides psychotherapy and related services only to adults aged 18 and over.
Services are not provided to children or young people under the age of 18.
If you are under 18, please do not use this website to request therapy. You should speak with a parent, guardian, GP, school counsellor, or another appropriate support service.
If SENTIS becomes aware that an enquiry has been submitted by someone under 18, therapy will not be provided. Any information received may be deleted, unless there is a lawful reason to retain or act upon it, such as a safeguarding concern, risk of harm, legal obligation, or the need to protect the vital interests of the person concerned or another person.
4. No emergency or crisis support
This website must not be used for emergencies or crisis situations.
SENTIS does not provide an emergency, crisis, urgent-response, or out-of-hours service. Messages sent through the website, email, contact forms, text message, voicemail, or other online means may not be monitored outside working hours and may not receive an immediate response.
If you are in immediate danger: call 999 or 112, attend your nearest Emergency Department, contact your GP, or contact an appropriate crisis support service.
5. No therapeutic relationship from website use
Using this website, reading website content, submitting an enquiry, sending an email, or leaving a voicemail does not, by itself, create a therapist-client relationship with SENTIS or Psih. Claudiu Negosanu.
A therapeutic relationship begins only when SENTIS has agreed to provide therapy, the client has agreed to the relevant therapy agreement, and practical arrangements have been confirmed.
Before therapy begins, you may be provided with a separate therapy agreement or consent document covering matters such as confidentiality, fees, cancellations, data protection, professional boundaries, record keeping, online therapy, and the limits of the service.
6. Enquiries and communication
You may contact SENTIS by email, phone, or website contact form where available.
Please use website forms, email, telephone, text message, or voicemail only for practical enquiries, appointment-related communication, or non-urgent matters.
Please do not send highly sensitive, urgent, crisis-related, or emergency information through website forms or email unless this is necessary. Digital communication can be useful, but no online communication system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
Therapeutic work usually takes place within scheduled sessions rather than by email, text message, voicemail, or website form.
7. Website information and responsibility
SENTIS aims to keep the information on this website accurate, clear, and up to date. However, no guarantee is given that all information is complete, current, or suitable for every individual situation.
You use this website at your own discretion and responsibility. You are responsible for deciding whether the information on this website is suitable for your circumstances.
You should not rely on website content as a substitute for therapy, medical advice, psychiatric care, legal advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support.
Important: If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, medication, diagnosis, safety, or risk, please contact an appropriate qualified professional, such as your GP, psychiatrist, emergency service, or another relevant provider.
8. Therapy, bookings and agreements
Any information on this website about therapy services, availability, fees, appointment times, online sessions, or practical arrangements is provided for general guidance and may change.
Therapy appointments are subject to availability, clinical suitability, agreement between the client and SENTIS, and any relevant therapy agreement or consent documentation.
SENTIS may decline, pause, or discontinue therapy where the service is not clinically appropriate, safe, ethical, within professional competence, or suitable for the client’s needs.
Fees and cancellations
Fees, payment arrangements, cancellations, missed appointments, and rescheduling are normally explained in the separate therapy agreement or agreed directly before therapy begins.
Reports, letters and third-party requests
Therapy does not automatically include reports, letters, legal documents, insurance documents, employment letters, court reports, immigration letters, or third-party documentation. Any such request must be discussed in advance and may be declined where it falls outside the practitioner’s competence, remit, records, professional obligations, or clinical judgement.
9. Confidentiality and safeguarding
Confidentiality is central to therapy. Information shared in therapy is treated as confidential and is not normally disclosed to others without consent.
However, confidentiality is not absolute. Information may need to be shared where this is necessary, lawful, and proportionate.
This may include situations where:
- there is a serious risk of harm to you;
- there is a serious risk of harm to another person;
- a child protection or child welfare concern arises;
- there is a safeguarding concern relating to a vulnerable person;
- disclosure is required by law, court order, statutory duty, or legal process;
- disclosure is needed for professional supervision, legal advice, insurance advice, or responding to a complaint or legal claim;
- there is a medical emergency or serious risk situation.
Where information is shared, SENTIS will aim to share only what is necessary and proportionate.
10. Online sessions and technology
Online therapy may be offered where clinically appropriate and where suitable practical arrangements are in place.
If you attend online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a private and safe space, suitable technology, a stable internet connection, and enough privacy so that you cannot be overheard.
SENTIS may use trusted service providers such as Carepatron, Zoom, and Google Services, including Google Meet, where appropriate for practice management, communication, online sessions, and related administrative functions.
Important: No digital platform can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free. SENTIS takes reasonable steps to protect privacy and security, but you are also responsible for protecting your own device, internet connection, email account, and private space.
11. Respectful use and conduct
SENTIS aims to provide a respectful, safe, and professional service. Clients and website users are expected to communicate respectfully and not to behave in a threatening, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or unsafe manner.
Threatening, abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour may result in communication being ended, an appointment being discontinued, therapy being reviewed or ended, and, where necessary, relevant authorities being contacted.
You must not attempt to damage, disrupt, overload, interfere with, hack, misuse, or compromise the SENTIS website, systems, contact forms, email, accounts, or digital services.
You must not introduce viruses, malware, automated scraping, harmful code, unauthorised access attempts, or any other technology intended to damage or interfere with the website or related systems.
12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all text, design, layout, images, graphics, branding, downloadable materials, and other content on this website belong to SENTIS / Psih. Claudiu Negosanu or are used with permission.
You may view and download website content for personal, non-commercial use only.
You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, sell, license, upload, or use website content for commercial or public purposes without prior written permission from SENTIS / Psih. Claudiu Negosanu.
Therapy materials, worksheets, written content, images, and website text must not be reproduced or published elsewhere without permission.
13. External links and third-party services
This website may include links to external websites or third-party resources. These links are provided for convenience or general information only.
SENTIS is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices, security, or policies of external websites.
If you choose to access external websites or third-party services, you do so at your own discretion and responsibility. You should read the terms and privacy policies of any external website or service you use.
14. Website availability and security
SENTIS aims to maintain this website in a safe and accessible manner. However, SENTIS does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful material.
SENTIS may update, change, suspend, restrict, or remove website content or functionality at any time without notice.
You are responsible for using appropriate security measures on your own devices, including secure passwords, antivirus protection where appropriate, software updates, and secure internet access.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SENTIS / Psih. Claudiu Negosanu accepts no liability for any loss, damage, distress, inconvenience, or other consequence arising from:
- reliance on general information provided on this website;
- using website content as a substitute for professional advice, therapy, medical care, or emergency support;
- inability to access or use the website;
- technical errors, interruptions, viruses, malware, or security issues affecting the website;
- use of external websites linked from this website;
- information submitted through contact forms, email, text message, voicemail, or other online communication where confidentiality or security cannot be fully guaranteed;
- failure to seek appropriate emergency, medical, psychiatric, legal, or professional support when needed.
Nothing in these Website Terms of Use excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Privacy and cookies

SENTIS does not sell your personal data.
This website may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security, analytics, or embedded content. Where required, non-essential cookies should only be used with consent.

SENTIS may update these Website Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in the website, services, law, professional guidance, or practice procedures.
The current version will be available on the SENTIS website.
By continuing to use the website after changes are made, you accept the updated terms.
